Events & Calendar: host, RSVP, and never miss a session

July 19, 2026 · by the Venet team

Venet's Events and Calendar features keep the community's momentum visible — and make sure you actually show up to the things you commit to.

Attending events

The Events page lists upcoming sessions hosted by Venet founders — AMAs, workshops, demo days, co-working sessions. Each event shows the host, time, and format (online link or location). RSVP with one tap:

  • The event is added to your personal calendar automatically
  • You get a reminder the day before by email and a starting-soon notification one hour before
  • After the event, Venet nudges you to keep talking — with a suggested attendee you haven't connected with yet

Hosting events

Any member with a published startup profile can host:

  1. Create the event from the Calendar page with title, time, and description
  2. Choose visibility — all members, your connections, or invite-only with a named guest list
  3. Add an online link (or a location for in-person)

Your event appears on the Events page for eligible members, and RSVPs roll in with counts you can watch.

Your calendar

The Calendar page is your personal schedule inside Venet:

  • Monthly grid on desktop, agenda view on mobile
  • Upcoming meetings strip — confirmed 1-on-1 meetings with Join links
  • Personal events you add yourself — meetings, calls, or anything else
  • Everything you RSVP to and every confirmed meeting lands here automatically

Why it matters

Founders live or die by follow-through. Having RSVPs, meetings, and reminders in one system — the same one your conversations happen in — removes the "I forgot" failure mode entirely.
